RETREAT REGISTRATION FORM
Ride. Relax. Renew.
As a healthcare provider with almost 10 years of experience in the field I am all too familiar with the demanding nature of the work. Though, it is truly an honor to serve patients, our conscientious and highly committed personalities often add another layer of stress. I wholeheartedly believe that to best serve others we must first take care of ourselves.
I am a Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C). I have a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Rocky Mountain College as well as a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology, with a Minor in Psychology. As a Physician Assistant I am licensed to practice medicine under the supervision of a physician. I am able to medically evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients as well as prescribe medications, and perform clinical procedures. In addition to my medical experience, I am actively working on my Yoga instructor’s certification.
I have worked in family medicine with a large emphasis in psychiatric illness, student health, and in PA education. Throughout my career I have gained a wide range of experience with mental illness, and have watched colleagues, beloved healthcare professionals, and some of the best physicians succumb to caregiver fatigue and burn-out. It is time to start empowering our healthcare professionals to practice self-compassion, and to INVEST IN THEMSELVES!!
I am incredibly excited and honored to be a part of the Horses N Courage Ride. Relax. Renew. Retreat for Women Working in Healthcare, and women wanting to promote well-being and vitality in their life! Having experienced a retreat first hand, I can honestly say it is life changing! My physical and emotional health has significantly improved, my drive and commitment to my career has been restored, and I am simply a better PA, mom, and person because of it. The mountains, the horses, the accommodations, the people are truly unforgettable! We would be thrilled to have you join us this summer and make an investment in your health and well-being, your career and family, and an investment in yourself!
